This is my first collection for the guild ~Checked In Today~ .....We have lots of talented artisans in here.
Also ,I am posting this simple Baileys Irish cream cake recipe ...fast to make and Yummy .
BAILEY'S IRISH CREAM CAKE
2 c. flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 egg
2/3 c. salad oil
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur
1 c. hot strong coffee
Sift dry ingredients together. Beat egg, oil, buttermilk, liqueur, coffee together. Add to the dry ingredients; beat together for about 3 minutes. Pour into a greased and floured 10" springform pan or 9"x13" pan.
Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 35 to 40 minutes for springform or 25 to 30 minutes for 9"x13" pan or until done. Cool.
FROSTING:
2 c. heavy cream
1/4 - 1/2 c. powdered sugar
4 tbsp. Bailey's Irish Cream, or more to taste
Beat frosting ingredients together until stiff. Turn cake out onto a plate and frost with whipped cream mixture. Sprinkle with chocolate curls if desired. Refrigerate.
