Ginalimosaics ~ artisan this week~

05 October 2011

I like to see new artisan on my blog, so I can feature them and also it give me the pleasure to see all the nice work from artisans here and all over the world.

Gina (Ginalimosaics)is a mosaic artist and sea glass jewellery designer, she love collecting materials for her artwork and her jewellery on the beaches of Greece. Gina lived there for 20 years and enjoys yearly vacations in Greece now, in particular Rhodes, Greece.  It is full of treasures on the beaches from the Aegean Sea.
Gina incorporates sea glass, beach glass, beach ceramics, shells, beach pottery, into her jewellery and mosaics. Gina also use stained glass, glass pebbles, glass beads, ceramic tile and crystals in both mosaics and jewellery designs.
Gina started in 2008 making a small mosaic glass table, so she got the bug in her and couldn’t stop and finally had so many tables and mirrors she decided to try and sell them and show them in art shows
Gina has another passion, picture frames and Christmas ornaments.
